Desktop Pipeline reports in this article that Firefox is vulnerable to a bug that was first reported back in 1998. There’s no word on that site when the bug will be fixed but they report that the problem can be circumvented if you close all other Firefox windows (and, assumedly, tabs) before opening a window to a secure site.

I’ve gotten email from quite a few of you stating that, while you’re happy that comments are back, you’re not all that crazy about registering. Well, I can understand that but it’s just another level of protection from comment SPAM, don’t’cha know? And comment SPAM was the reason I turned off comments in the first place. That’s OK, though. After wrestling with the process, I’ve upgraded this installation to V3.16 of MovableType. Comment moderation is available in this version and I’ve turned it on. That means that you can comment again.
